Letter From Our Founder & Head Designer Lauren Stein
Like many this year, Her Pony is evolving. The global situation has given us time and opportunity to reflect on what we’re doing, where we’re going and why we started. And while we love every part of what Her Pony has become, we feel it’s lost a little of something it started with: our vintage roots.
When I founded Her Pony back in 2010, our designs were all woven from vintage treasures. Nineties floral dresses became signature two-piece sets, bold ‘60s retro prints were paired with ‘70s stripes… I drew from the decades to create pieces that would hold a sense of nostalgia and individuality that would always be relevant. Well, I feel it’s time to get back to that.
Since those days, Her Pony has come to be known as a festival brand. We’ve danced among electric crowds, turned heads in open fields and broken hearts under sparkling skies – and we’ll continue to do that (pandemic pending!). But we’ll focus more on making wearable collections. Keepsakes that pull inspiration from the past, beg to be worn constantly and turn heads well into the future.
We’re looking back, moving forward and making steps to become a more responsible brand. Thanks for coming along on this journey with us.
With love,
Lauren Stein
